Have we ever witnessed or heard when a pro drummer was playing & terheran2 how it produces sound that can be heard as " fit " ? ?
Then we tried to play with the technique , groove , tempo even with the same kit but the sound that is produced can be so different . It may be that this is not merely a matter of technique , but dealing with Tone . Tone can mean " thickness Colors Generated Sound " . Do not dismiss this tone issue because often it is this which distinguishes between Drummer Pro & Amateur . Often we are too focused practice speed , technique , independence , etc. without realizing that the resultant tone of the game we tend to thin and biased . Produce a good tone requires considerable experience . Need extra patience to train it to get the sound that " Mature " .
Here are some practical tips to produce a tone that mantab .
Mantab 1.Tone closely related to the balance of the sound . Once again a priority in many genres of sound that is the hardest Bass , Snare followed cymbals . Often I find a drummer who hit the hi - hat too loud or too slowly stepping on the bass drum , thus ruining the game and ruin the proportion of the overall music .
